As an aspiring YouTuber, I do a lot of videos using many products. I have been a fan of Mielle Organics for a couple of years but I have been doing a lot of videos using products that I currently have or have been gifted.
In doing this, my hair has been ravaged. My hair had been very dry lately and the product was not being absorbed. I would do videos and apply conditioner and could still see the conditioner sitting in parts of my hair. From that moment it was just downhill for any other product applied after that.
So today I washed my hair and used the Mielle Organics Leave In Conditioner, Mint Almond Oil and Avocado Hair Milk. My styler of choice was the Honey and Ginger Styling Gel.
This gel hasn’t been on the market that long but people are really excited about it due to its ingredients. This is the list of ingredients: Aqua (Water), Glycerin*, Honey*, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Acrylates Copolymer, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Orbignya Oleifera (Babassu) Seed Oil*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)*, Maltodextrin/VP Copolymer, Marshmallow Extract, Pectin, Parfum (Fragrance), Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol. Honey is the 3rd ingredient.
* CERTIFIED ORGANIC INGREDIENTS.
Here are the results of my hair once I was done styling:
This is my hair dry. You can see the shrinkage is minimal:
The consistency is more like a lotion but I love that it doesn’t make your hair crunchy.
Your hair is still soft after it dries. It’s good to know that you can feel good about what you are putting on your hair. The gel is now available at Sally Beauty Supply but it’s hard to find because it’s flying off the shelves as quick as it’s restocked. If you don’t see it there, you can purchase from their website: https://mielleorganics.com/products/honey-ginger-styling-gel?variant=21857873733
Mielle Organics can be purchased at Target, Sally Beauty Supply, CVS and other retail locations. You can find a retailer near you on their website by typing in your zip code: https://mielleorganics.com/apps/store-locator
